Rock Face No.1 is central to a small portfolio I am creating in early 2000 for possible publication. The portfolio will progress from simple documentation of images with double meanings to more complex images such as Rock Face No. 1 (look close now to see something besides rock) and finally to photographic metaphors.
A short essay will accompany the portfolio. Areas that will be covered include Equivalents (as defined by Alfred Stieglitz and refined by Minor White) and paradoxical images.
Stay tuned. This should be great fun!
