I spotted this thinly seen larch at Buzzard Lake while looking for aspens to photograph. I did spot some great aspens, which I returned to get two days later during a snow storm.
I liked the strength shown by the aspens, and the wiry feel of the larch.
Note the long exposure. I took the picture with the last of the light after sunset, with the background completely in shadows.
